Day in the EarthLab Garden

Volunteers will work with knowledgeable docents in one of the garden areas to prune and care for the various plants and trees, maintain paths for student and community activities; prepare areas for planting, remove invasive plant species, and participate in specific site projects.

About the event

This is a HandsOn San Diego event. Please register with this link in order to participate.

Physical Requirements: Standing, bending, kneeling, lifting (can accommodate weight limitations), walking on some inclines and on uneven surfaces for the duration of the event. Volunteers with hearing impairments can work closely with a knowledgeable docent for demonstration of activities. The project space is only partially accessible via wheelchair.
